PERCIVAL EVERETT — THE TREES

Like I said, had to read more Percival Everett after I Am Not Sidney Poitier. The Trees isn’t as funny, but much more murder-y. Yeah, why not. It’s got me mulling over the open endings both novels went for… so I’m going to have to read more before I can really see the pattern/get a grip on things. This is chapter-broken in a zippy way, if you’re looking to zip through something.
